Scribe is now part of your Dialer call, before it even starts
If you use Doximity Dialer for patient calls, documentation just got simpler. Scribe can now be toggled on before a call starts — directly from the pre-call screen on desktop — so the moment your visit begins, Scribe is already listening.
Moving the toggle to the pre-call UI means less friction, better discoverability, and fewer missed recordings. Set it up the way you'd confirm your caller ID or patient number, and Scribe runs in the background from the first word.
Why this matters for telehealth documentation
Virtual visits create a documentation gap that in-person visits don't. When you're managing a video or phone call, there's no stepping away to dictate between exam rooms. The encounter ends and you're already behind.
Scribe bridges that gap by capturing the clinical conversation during the call itself. The note is generated automatically when the visit ends — no separate dictation session, no recall from memory at the end of the day.
The pre-call toggle makes that workflow tighter. Documentation is no longer something you remember to set up mid-call. It's part of how the call starts.
Built into the EHR workflows you already use
Dialer's integration with Epic and Oracle Health EHR (formerly Cerner) means that for clinicians working within health system workflows, Dialer is already embedded where you work. Scribe now follows — so the note generated from your EHR-connected call is ready when the visit ends, without switching contexts.
What's coming next
Mobile support for the pre-call Scribe toggle is rolling out soon. If you're primarily a Dialer mobile user, the same workflow — toggle on before the call, note generated after — will be available on your phone.
If you haven't used Scribe with Dialer yet, your next call is a good place to start. Enable the toggle before you dial, let Scribe run, and review the note when the visit ends.
